Firmware Engineer

Job Responsibilities

-Work with global R&D team closely - Participate in firmware, Linux driver and application development projects within and across development sites
- Maintain and support the existing firmware, perform changes based on the field requirements and continue to new product software development
- Documenting the Project related information like design specifications, etc
- Contribute cost estimates and schedules for firmware development tasks
- Develop unit and integration test methods to ensure system meets requirement. Create, present and publish test reports

Job Qualifications

-Communication, EE, Automation ,Computer related degree - 3+ Experience in hardware oriented / embedded firmware development (IAR/KEIL compiler, Freescale, Atmel, Microchip, ST, Renessa etc.)
- Experience in RTOS (Thread X, Free-RTOS or similar) and 8/16/32bit MCU
- Experience in Linux is plus
- Knowledge of network and IP architectures, protocols and standards
- Knowledge in some of the following: ZigBee, Wi-Fi, Z-Wave, Bluetooth, Audio, Image processing, Home Kit, LTE, Cyber Security etc.
- Excellent Programming Skills in C language, a second one must be C++ and/or assembly and/or any script languages
- Strong software debugging skills on embedded real-time systems
